Zoë Parsons
My name is Zoë Parsons. I am a midwifery student at Toronto Metropolitan University and I will be at SGMT for my final year of learning. Prior to midwifery I started a kinesiology degree at McMaster university, worked as a doula, and had a career in housing and harm reduction, supporting precariously housed folks in the east end of Toronto. I grew up in the east end and I am thrilled to continue serving this community through midwifery. I am mixed Mi’kmaw and settler and have roots in Burgeo, Newfoundland. I am deeply committed to providing high quality, evidence-based, trauma-informed care and it is an absolute privilege to learn from and work alongside the midwives at SGMT. Outside of midwifery I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and pet rabbits. I am also a very proud auntie. Thank you so much for considering including me in your care. It is an honour to support and create space for you and your families.
