Sara (Sadie) Booth

Hi! I'm Sara (Sadie) Booth, and I am so pleased to be working as a midwife with Call Auntie Clinic and SGMT!

I'm a settler of mostly British Isles descent, born and raised here in Tkaronto. Before midwifery, I worked and studied in theatre and sexual health. I graduated from Midwifery at TMU in 2002, and was part of the midwifery team at the start-up of SGMT. When Indigenous midwife co-leads from SGMT opened the Toronto Birth Centre in 2013, I started in the role of Clinical Director, which I continued until 2025. One of my passions and areas of study is cultural safety. It's important to me to understand what each person wants from their care, and to be flexible and open to feedback.

I'm also a single parent of a teen, and an amateur bird and plant geek. Being a care provider in this community continues to bring me joy and meaning. I look forward to meeting you!
