Emma Dawkins

My name is Emma Sabiha Dawkins (she/they). I am a settler born and raised in T'karonto with ancestors are from the UK and India. Before completing Midwifery school at what is now the Toronto Metropolitan University in 2021, I studied wildlife biology and conservation at the University of Toronto and volunteered in areas of sexual health and reproductive justice. I’m honoured to be part of the team of midwives at SGMT and seek to make birth an informed and empowering experience for the clients in our care. 

In addition to midwifery I love canoeing, enjoying hikes with my dog, and playing board games.
